From time to time the Oak Ridges Moraine Land Trust receives inquiries from individuals interested in purchasing or selling lands with existing conservation easements in place. In the interest of demonstrating that there is a viable market for "protected" lands the Board of Directors have agreed that basic information about such inquiries will be posted in this section of the website.
The Land Trust does not replace the role of real estate agents, nor is there is there any financial consideration for this service as contact information is not provided for either party. Sales and purchases of lands with conservation easements or restrictive covenants registered on title remain protected by all of the conditions as described in the original agreement with responsibility for fulfilling these conditions transferring to subsequent owners.
