As areas within the Oak Ridges Moraine continue to be developed, it is more important than ever to steward and enhance our protected properties while educating the community. The Starcliff Nature Reserve Pollinator Garden and Invasive Species Removal project removed goutweed and periwinkle, two invasive species invading the forest, and planted over 800 native plants and shrubs to support pollinators and biodiversity.

Together we can enhance native pollinator habitat by planting native species. We encourage you to plant native species in your own gardens at home!
